This is Sabah's longest river and home to an incredible variety of wildlife. We stay in the jungle and get to observe a vast array of insects, birds and animals in their native environments. Walking along jungle trails and travelling the river by boat you regularly see king fishers, hornbills, macaque, and proboscis monkeys. Very occasionally you may get lucky and see elephants, wild boar, otters, orangutans and other reclusive species.
Our accommodation tonight in the midst of the jungle is a simple but wonderful experience, offering twin-sharing rooms with with fans and mosquito netting, with ensuite bathroom.
The overnight stay locations of Days 5 to 8 may swap on occasions, depending on the availability of Selingan Island accommodation.

Enjoy free time in the area and an afternoon cruise to spot animals along the river.

Sepilok is one of the highlights of the trip where you'll get to meet the adorable 'wild men of Borneo'. Encountering orangutans and their human like features is a truly unforgettable experience. The centre is an excellent example of active conservation, re-introducing domesticated, injured and orphaned orangutans back into the wild.

The tour leader was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the tour. All accommodation and various entry fees were taken care of which was great. The local tour guide integrated well with our group and he was great fun! I felt that I was introduced to as much of the 'real' Borneo as I could be in 10 days.Overall Rating
As always, my impression of my Borneo trip was that it was well organized, relaxed and fantastic. I loved it. Can't wait to book my next trip. It'll be my THIRD G Adventure!!! Thank you so much Adam and Arkin!!Overall Rating

Overall an amazing tour. Nothing quite so satisfying as conquering the highest peak in South East Asia on the second day of your trip! The relaxed but incredible jungle tours that followed made for the perfect mix of experiences.Overall Rating
The guides (Ben and Amadul) were excellent. Friendly and very informative. The group size was good (15). Had a great time, and there was a good balance between the trekking/hiking/jungle and hanging around on the beach/city (KK)Overall Rating
My first overseas experience and the travel bug has bitten. I want more. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. There was a variety of experiences and knowledgeable local guides. The accommodation was better than I had imagined.Overall Rating
