Day 1: Bangkok

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included.

Upon arrival at the airport, head to the arrival hall and door number 3 near the information counter. Look for a driver holding a G Adventures sign with your name, who'll take you to your hotel so you can check in and start exploring.

Day 2: Bangkok/Kanchanaburi (1B)

Travel to Kanchanaburi, home to the "Bridge on the River Kwai." Take a train journey over the bridge and take in a piece of World War II history.

Day 3: Kanchanaburi/Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (1B, 1D)

Enjoy a morning visit to Erawan National Park and waterfall then visit the Thai/Burma War Museum and War Cemetery. This afternoon, travel to Ayutthaya and enjoy dinner on a converted 1930s rice barge.

Day 4: Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya/Chiang Mai (1B)

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ayutthaya Historical Park, which served as Thailand's capital from the 14th to 18th centuries, when it ranked as one of the most magnificent cities in the world. Later, return to Bangkok to catch a flight to Chiang Mai.

Day 5: Chiang Mai (1B, 1L)

Monk Chats are a great cultural exchange, but is also important in helping the young Monks improve their English.

Day 6: Chiang Mai (1B, 1D)

Travel to the countryside near Chiang Mai and enjoy dinner northern khantok style, a must-do when you reach northern Thailand. Khantok in the Northern dialect means wooden tray, used for carrying dishes, round in shape and made of teak wood. The host will invite guests to sit on the floor around the khantok. Main dishes usually include sticky rice, hang-le curry (Burmese-styled curry), and some chill-pasted crispy pork. Later, enjoy tea time with the opportunity to talk with local people to learn their way of living.

Day 7: Chiang Mai/Bangkok (1B)

Flight to bustling Bangkok for a klong riverboat ride through Bangkok's canals and visit to Wat Po, the famed Temple of the Reclining Buddha.

Day 8: Bangkok (1B)

Enjoy the day in bustling Bangkok. Option to visit temples, museums, a spa, or go shopping.

Day 9: Bangkok/Ko Samui (1B)

Lying off of Thailand's east coast in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui offers everything you could possibly want in a seaside retreat: white sandy beaches, coconut palms, fresh seafood, and warm, clear waters.

Our hotel is located at the vibrant and exciting "Chaweng" district, walking distance to restaurants, entertainment spots and shopping. Catch a tuk tuk to the various beaches close tour our hotel.

Day 10: Ko Samui (1B, 1L)

We transfer by boat to Ang Thong Marine National Park and enjoy morning kayaking along the stunning coastline of Koh Mae Ko. After landing on the beach you can try an easy but magnficient climb through the dense tropical forest and narrow ravines taking you up to the Talai Nai, or "Green Lagoon," with a spectacular island vista.

Return to the boat and cruise through the stunning scenery of the park while a delicious buffet lunch is served. Continue on to Tai Plao Island in the north of the Park and explore ancient limestone caves and rock formations along the coast by kayak. Later you can choose to return to the boat and sunbathe or snorkel before returning to Koh Samui.

Day 11: Ko Samui (1B)

Option to snorkel, enjoy a Thai massage, visit a spa, or take a jeep tour.

Day 12: Ko Samui/Krabi (1B, 1D)

Stay close to the beach and enjoy some of the beautiful scenic views that have made southern Thailand so famous. In the evening, grab a cocktail and relax at the pool. Your CEO will fill you in on all the other interesting options that are available in the area. This is the perfect place to get active or simply chill out and relax.

Our resort is located a short distance by tuk tuk to Aonang Beach and Noppharat Thara Beach. Enjoy the resort's excellent facilities including restaurant and bars, three large outdoor swimming pools, and rejuvenating spa (additional cost).

Day 13: Krabi (1B)

This morning drive to Krabi. This afternoon, cross the river by typical long tail boat with our local guide, visiting caves and mangroves. Later, jump in tricycle tuk-tuks to explore local communities and rural industries, including a rubber plantation to see tree tapping, rice fields and a batik workshop. Learn about the culture and daily life of rural southern Thailand villagers.

Day 14: Krabi (1B)

Enjoy the day to relax in paradise. Opt to catch a tuk tuk to Aonang Beach, visit spas, rent kayaks, or snorkel.

Day 15: Krabi/Bangkok (1B)

Today we return to bustling Bangkok. The tour ends at the airport in the mid-to-late afternoon.
