Back
Kathmandu to Kathmandu

We begin this enchanting trip in the evocative Nepalese capital of Kathmandu before moving west to experience an authentic taste of village life in rural Nepal. We will continue to the laid-back lakeside town of Pokhara - with its spectacular scenery and tranquil setting, it truly is a place to relax or get involved in the numerous adventure activities on offer here. From Pokhara we move on to the awe-inspiring, snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna region where we stay for a couple of nights tucked away from the world in a little eco-village featuring stunning views down the valley to Pokhara. Next we head to the little-known town of Bandipur, once a commercial centre along the trade route to Tibet. Bandipur is a beautiful town, a fantastic example of traditional Newari culture, and completely untouched by modernisation, so it's quite a special place to spend some time! We then make our way to the lowlands of Nepal and to Chitwan National Park, where we head out into the forests and rivers in search of the elusive local wildlife, before heading back to Kathmandu where the trip ends.
