Departing Edinburgh we head to South Queensferry to stand under the imposing Forth Bridge. Built in 1890 it’s one of Scotland’s greatest man-made landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with views over the Firth of Forth. Onwards we cross the water and travel on to Falkland, used in the filming of Outlander.

St Andrews is our destination for the afternoon with plenty of free time to explore this fascinating town. Home to Scotland’s oldest University, and particularly famous for its ancient golfing associations. St Andrews also boasts beautiful beaches and the famous ruins of its Castle and Cathedral. Whilst in St. Andrews you will have a chance to join a free guided walking tour conducted by your tour guide. Finish off your visit with a locally made ice cream before we return to Edinburgh early evening.
