Brace yourselves, we’re heading south into enemy territory! Passing gentle rolling hills and dramatic coastline, we’ll travel 3 miles south of the Scottish border to England’s northernmost town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. Exploring this laid-back, seaside town, with quirky shops and sandy beaches, you could easily forget Berwick’s turbulent past - central to 400 years of bloody border wars - sacked 13 times, before it finally fell into English hands in 1482.

In the afternoon, have your broomsticks at the ready as we’re off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England, home to the Duke of Northumberland’s family for over 700 years. Along a rich history and magnificent medieval architecture – it’s a film lovers’ dream.

For our final stop we’ll follow the river Tweed to the town of Kelso to see the ruins of a once splendid Cathedral, before travelling back to Edinburgh, early evening.
