They owe their gorgeousness to their composition of chalk - you're learning and we haven't even left the UK!Off the ferry we arrive in the port town of Calais - French soil! We travel north via Belgium before reaching ... Amsterdam!Cross off another country off your list as you cruise through Belgium on your way to Amsterdam.Tonight, the famed for fun Amsterdam is ours to explore following an optional evening canal cruise. An undisguised Red Light District & plenty of bars are there for the curious.

Conserve some energy for the evening of Tuscan feasting and disco dancing on offer.

10

Day 10: Florence to French Riviera

Farewell Florence - today we have the French Riv on our horizons. Glamour town, we're coming in hot.As if we were going to leg it from Florence to the French Riviera without a sneaky side trip to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Depriving you of the chance to perfect the holding-up-the-tower shot would be down right criminal. You're not a real celebrity until you've frolicked on the French Riviera, and who are we to keep you off the A-list? Sapphire waters & endless high end vibes mark this glitzy coastline. We'll hit up the Fragonard Perfumery where you can stock up on perfume, obviously. Especially given the greatly discounted prices and authenticity of buying in France.

11

Day 11: French Riviera incl Monaco

Missing an opportunity to see this part of the world up close and personal would be criminal. Speaking of things you shouldn't miss, this region is famous for lavender honey, aioli & rosé wine; all 3 in one meal should be your mission.A night in glamorous Monaco should complete your day slash life. Fate, you've done it again! Tapas and a night exploring the city should have us in the Spanish mood before we know it.

13

Day 13: Barcelona

Cobbled lanes of the Gothic Quarter, Montjuic hilltop vistas, & wild Spanish architecture will season our day to perfection. 17

Day 17: Pamplona to Bordeaux via San Sebastian

This morning we head into France, but not before our last Spanish port of call, the glamorous San Sebastian. What a way to start your day - dipping in the Bay of Biscay. San Sebastian is a postcard city where cobbled lanes slope towards pristine beaches. Take a dip, do some shopping, or sit in a bar eating endless plates of pinxtos (the basque word for tapas) before we head up into France, to the picture perfect wine country, Bordeaux.Wise folk tell us that wine has been produced in Bordeaux since the 1st Century - that's a long time. Which means they know what they're doing. And it's not just the vino that has dragged us here, it's a damn pretty place to boot including it's famous Miroir d'eau (water mirror).
