Today you will be picked up from the hotel by your expert local guide and taken to the train station of Poroy, on the outskirts of Cuzco.
Here you will board the train that will take you through the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley to the small town of Aguas Calientes, the gateway to the phenomenal ruins of Machu Picchu.
In Aguas Calientes you will stay in a friendly local hotel.
Today you will have an early start to take a minibus up the winding mountainside to the awe-inspiring ruined city of Machu Picchu - the phenomenal
Your expert local guide will take you on a fascinating tour around the immense, mystical ruins for about 2 to 3 hours, explaining to you all about the rich history of the ancient site. Afterwards, you will have time to freely explore on your own before it is time to return down the mountain to Aguas Calientes.
