Day 1

Sacred Valley & Aguas Calientes
You`ll be picked up from you Cusco accommodation at 08:40 and join the rest of the group in the main square. From here it`s onwards and upwards to explore the Sacred Valley via the Vilcanota River (one of the most beautiful archaeological places in Peru). The valley is a succession of picturesque towns, Incan platforms, many an archaeological remain and roomy plains where the giant white corn of the Incas still grows. Some say this is the sweetest corn in the world!
Late afternoon the group will take the train to Aguas Calientes and spend the night at Payacha Hostal -where you can indulge in private bathrooms and hot showers


Day 2

Machu Picchu to Cusco
This is a super early start to the day with breakfast served up at well before 05:00! From here, it`s a bus at 05:30 (the first one for the day) up to Machu Picchu to arrive at the summit just in time for an incredible sunrise. The tour of Machu Picchu will take around 2 hours and you`re free to test your guide`s knowledge of the area to the max! Following this, you`re then free to roam at will and climb to the peak of Huayan Picchu from which you will have an incredible view over the entire valley and complex. Once you`ve Machu Picchu-ed yourself out, it`s a bus back to Aguas Calientes and then a train back to Ollantaytambo. From there onwards it`s a bus to Cusco and you should be back in town and at your desired accommodation at around 21:00
